She was a very neat child. (I say "was" because after living with K the past year. . . let's just say that she is not as neat and tidy as she was a year ago. LOL)
This is just a cute picture of A with a little girl in our travel group. A was very happy to have someone her size to walk with.
Our first picture together, June 4, 2007.
And here we are on June 8, 2008.

- This is a Wuzhou baby isn't she? I recognize the director from when I adopted my daughter in 2005. Glenys is 4 now. Happy family day. Beverly
- Beverly, She sure is my Wuzhou wonder. She is now a little more than 4 1/2 years old. I can hardly believe that she has been home with us for a year. Blessing to you!! Regina
- Cant believe its been a year!!! There is the white with pink polka dot dress that Channing wore in some pictures. She is such a beautiful girl....I love our Wuzhou girls!!
- Congratulations, what a mile stone. I makes me excited about what our little XuXu will be like after a year home. It's been just over 2 months now...What a beautiful family. Blessings, Amorisa
- We celebrated 1 year on June 4th too!
- Happy Forever Day! We are in the process of adoption #2 and I struggle with the unknowns of adopting an older toddler. Amilynn is an encouragement and inspiration to me to see how well adjusted and happy she is in her family.
- Oh my gosh, I just linked to your blog from the comment on the wcc yahoo group. Your daughter is beautiful and your post was very touching. Thank you for sharing! ...and I agree with what Beth says above :)
- Congrats on your 1 year anniversary! Your daughter is beautiful! We have a Guangxi girl, too (Keira came home Dec 2006). (And, I chuckled to note that we had a dog named Odie, to "match" your cat, Garfield!). All the best, Bryn
- We have a daughter from China as well. It brings me such joyful memories to read about your first days with your daughter. Your Amilynn is a cutie. Those questions they asked "will you take care of her, do you want to adopt her" did seem so silly. Yes, yes, yes we said. We have since adopted a little boy from Taiwan. He hasn't been as easy as our Cate. Just reading your story makes me wish we could return to China for just one more. But you know how difficult that is right now. Thanks for visiting my blog. I hope to get back to writing more book reviews soon. :)
