About Me

My photo
Regina
I am so blessed to be married to a wonderful man of God. He is my best friend and a great father to our children. We have been married for 18+ years and have four beautiful children. Our youngest child was adopted from China in 2007. I am currently a stay at home mom. We have moved many times in our years together and are currently living in South Dakota, although part of me will always consider Pennsylvania home. I like to think that I am very crafty, but I will let you be the judge of that.

Our Chinese Children

Our Chinese Children is intended to be a database of children adopted from China and here's how you can participate:
If you have adopted from China or are currently in the process, please create an account. All that is asked for is your name, a password, an active email address and the state, canadian province or country that you live in. This is a great way to connect with other parents with children from your child's province, SWI, agency etc. Check it out!!

A man was walking along a beach upon which thousands of starfish had been washed up. Left on the sand by the receding tide the starfish were certain to die as the sun dried them out. The man also saw a boy picking up starfish and flinging them back into the sea. Planning to teach the boy a little lesson in common sense, the man walked up to the boy and said, "I have been watching what you are doing, son. You have a good heart, and I know you mean well, but do you realize how many beaches there are around here and how many starfish are dying on every beach every day? Surely such an industrious and kind hearted boy such as yourself could find something better to do with your time. Do you really think that what you are doing is going to make a difference?" The boy looked up at the man, and then he looked down at a starfish by his feet. He picked up the starfish, and as he gently tossed it back into the ocean, he said, "It makes a difference to that one." ~author unknown
